A lot of us at Love also engage in artistic outlets other than skateboarding. Mine is shown through my blog Ink and Film which I post some of my random drawings and photos. It gets updated fairly regularly. www.inkandfilm.blogspot.com updated with some black and whites today.
For other art blogs check aaron wynias at www.polaroiding.blogspot.com and a food blog maintained by myself, joel, dave flaugher and jim tumey www.avocadosandollies.tumblr.com
i think I can speak for all of us at Love skateboards when I say that it is an honour to have our little video production mentioned on theoriesofatlantis.com . Josh Stewarts Static series has been hugely influential to myself and the rest of us at Love. So when Justin texted me at 8 am this morning to tell me Labour of Love was on the homepage I was stoked to say the least. Jim Tumey hooked us up with one hell of a video and Ryan Kehrer went the extra mile for his official welcoming part and suffered some pretty gnarly broken bones but is on the road to recovery. The video was a solid group effort and I really appreciate Josh taking the time to check it out. You can read the review, along with the review of two other solid flicks here: http://www.theoriesofatlantis.com/site/news/tri-ndependent/
We are proud to have a Dyer deck in our past Love line up and have one more still to come. Chris is an enlightened individual and produces awesome artwork. Will shot this photo of Joel hitting this wallie on the Tumi deck specificly for this book.
This is te new book of all things Chris Dyer, get your hands on a copy through amazon.
The new kid on the block ollies a nice bump to hydrant. Tamas was a welcome addition to our usual Detroit crew. Myself, Joel, Will, Tamas Katona and Aaron Watamaniuk all headed down to the D last weekend for the Michigan Labour of Love premier. With a big help from the good folks at People skate shop we had an amazing evening preceeded by an awesome day of giving Aaron and Tamas the full Detroit experience.
